Further info on Low Carbon Club CIC
For many years the Directors of the CIC have occupied various key positions working with publishing, event companies, Public Sector Private Sector and 3rd Sector. In response to a deep feeling that if we are to genuinely achieve a low carbon society quickly, we require improved communication and engagement internally, externally. We need inclusivity across all sectors of our society and all age groups. We urgently need to share and learn good practice….from whoever and wherever that occurs. The CIC aims will support this cultural shift.
Our project will allow our recruited staff to achieve recognised employment skills and become confident sales staff. Low Carbon Club CIC will offer services to organisations that have an environmental connection to allow us to generate additional funding. We will be looking at delegate generation for virtual or physical events. Promote funded CPD training for Public/Private Sector and the organisation of Pilot Projects and the support of Environmental Youth Projects.
The training provided will involve: Life-skills Coaching & personal development.
NLP based sales training
Climate change and sustainable development awareness
Telephone and e-mail marketing skills
Round table and events organising
Facilitation techniques and skills to be used within aspects of the events
Under the direction of Ron Pusey, a Low Carbon Club Director, there will be training and employment of initially 3 disabled /socially disadvantaged individuals in the first year. These trained staff will deliver income generating services for the CIC whilst we also support their psychological and learning needs. Ron is an experienced clinical therapist at his practice at stopanxietytoday and a trainer with over 30 years’ experience.
Low Carbon Club CIC Directors are grateful to all the companies and organisations we have worked with over the years. We wish you all well and invite you to join us on this exciting journey..
